1. When is the ROL deadline?

2. When is the last day an IMG can take Step 2 CK to make it in time for the ROL and not to be withdrawn from the Match?

February 25, 2009 is the ROL deadline.

There is no hard and fast deadline for taking the Steps and having it reported in time to stay in the match. But I'd venture anywhere less than 1 month before is pushing it.

You'd have to take Step 2CK atleast 2 months before the deadline. The reason is b/c you need to be ECFMG certified to be ranked after your score is reported and that takes an additional 1- 4 months ( mine took 4 months due to verification delay). Make sure your school credentials have been verified on your ECFMG/OASIS account.

If you haven't signed up to take Step 2 CK yet, it might already be too late.

Unless a program specifically requires it, you do not need to be ECFMG CERTIFIED to be ranked, only to have completed all the exams toward certification.

You HAVE to be CERTIFIED to start residency.
