Hello all, I'm really sorry if this has been asked before but here it is!

No.1 Can you use a calculator on general chemistry in natural science section? Can it be used in mathematics section?

No.2 How many ppl you know that were dental assistants b/f they got in or were dental hygienists? What are the competence/rejection statistics for those people?
 
The give you a dinky little windows calculator on the QR (math) section.

You cant use it in gen chem. Watch Chad's videos. He gives good pointers on how to do all of the equations without a calculator.
 
Know how to quickly analyze log math (for pH calculations), scientific notation (for molarities), and exponents.

I don't see why you would need a calculator for chemistry. You can do all of the math in your head for the most part, or on the paper they give you.
 
we didn't even get paper, we got dry erase cards and markers for the genchem and yes the terrible windows calc on QR. I wouldn't rely on it, it's super slow.

Ok...dry erase then. Same concept. Both are writing utensils with something to write on.
