1) Using "I" or "1" - does it matter? like General Chemistry I vs general chemistry 1

2) If the name of a class is cut off on my transcript because it's too long, but it fits in the AMCAS box, do I use what's on my transcript or the full name of the course?

thanks

also, my transcript uses "Prin" instead of principles - is this trivial as well?

EDIT and another question lol - say I started college fall of 2014; is a summer course in 2015 a freshman or sophomore level?

I listed everything as it appeared on my transcript. I instead of 1. Pathgn instead of Pathogen. It was verified without correction. To be safe I would just list everything as it appears on your transcript, weird abbreviations, cutoffs and all.

From the manual,
The AMCAS year begins with summer and ends with spring. Courses taken in the summer should be entered with the next academic year, even if your institution considers them in the previous year. For example, if you took a course in the first summer session of 2014, you should enter it as 2014–2015 academic year, even if your school considers it in the 2013–2014 academic year

In your case, this summer class would be a sophomore level class.
