Long time lurker, few time poster.
I am looking for some advice, and perhaps some reassurance, about where I stand with two weeks before Step 1. My UWorld and NBME scores don't really match up, so I am concerned that I may be coming into the exam in a semi-dangerous score range.
UWorld (60% done) - 65%
UWSA 1 (3/10) - 209
UWSA 2 (3/28) - 226
NBME 11 (4/5) - 207
NBME 12 (4/11) - 210
I must admit that during my NBMEs I really ran out of steam in the last section (which were significantly lower than the first three %-wise) and didn't really feel focused overall during either one of them. I plan on taking NBME 13 & 15 some time next week to see where I am.
I am weak (50s in UWorld) in biochem, pharm, micro, renal, and heme which will be focus points the next two weeks. Do you think if I really hammer these weak sections I can pull some sort of 220s (maybe even 230s)? I am looking to go into PM&R, so I am not really aiming for SDN numbers, but of course the higher the score the better.
Thanks.
