Achiever vs topscore. Which one?

Achiever is suicide from what I heard. It is way harder than the actual thing. If you use Achiever, use it as a guide early on in your studies. I didn't use it, but I did fine without it.

Topscore is the closest you'll get to the real DAT. I waited until my DAT was 2 weeks away to take the Topscore practice tests. The scores I got on them were very similar to what I scored on the real DAT.

Are the Kaplan practice DAT tests offered through their course just as good as the Topscore practice tests? Or would it be worth the money and time to go ahead and get the 3 from Topscore?

Don't not take achiever now because it's going to kill your confidence. If you had taken Achiever like a month ago just to get timing and endurance down for the exam that would have been good. To kill your confidence now is not worth it at all because then your going to question whether your ready or not. I would honestly use achiever just for PAT because lately I have been reading that Achiever's PAT section is actually closer to the real exam than CDP. I haven't purchased achiever yet but I'm going to purchase achiever mainly just for PAT. Good Luck

If you have the time I would do both. I took 6 practice tests (3 Top Score, 3 Achiever) in my final 2 weeks of studying to ID any topics I should review and to get used to the pacing of the exam. Just remember that these tests aren't exactly representative of your DAT score, so treat them as another study tool.
