20+ DAT Scores

Can I achieve 20+ DAT scores with just the BIG KAPLAN Book and Exam Krackers (Bio, Ochem and Inorganic) books?

If not, what other materials do I need to help me achieve these scores?

This is unanswerable. Are you a good test taker?? Are you a study-er ?

Full spectrum of people exists in regards to this matter. People have studied for months with a full compendium of sources and have not gotten over 20, and some have just taken the test cold and gotten 20+.

Exactly^^. It all depends on what kind of person you are, what your knowledge base is, how well you do on standardized tests, etc. I have known people that took the DAT with minimal studying and did 20+ on it while others, such as myself, had to put in several weeks of hardcore studying to get desired results. One resource that I do recommend is Topscore. Besides looking a lot like the actual DAT it is also a good measure of your abilities and will reveal any problem areas in which you need to focus your efforts a bit more. Best of luck!

Sorry I can't help you since I didn't use either of those resources.

But I would like to say that I took a Kaplan DAT course and I did very well. 😍

My only advice is to make sure that your studying includes lots of practice exams (preferably computer ones to simulate the actual exam). I found that I wasn't studing properly until I took a practice exam. It made me realize where to "focus in" and at what depth I should learn the material. Good Luck!! You'll do great!! 🙂 🙂
