Good luck to all!

Yes -- good luck to everyone taking the CREOGs

and on that note:

what are the tests we will have to take/pass when we are residents? (besides USMLE step 3) I know there are some oral boards, etc. but I don't exactly know the schedule. 🙂 thought i'd stay oblivous to the testing to come for as long as possible.. but I guess now is as good as a time as any.

thanks! 😍

i am also in the dark about when to take CREOG exam and any other writtwn/oral exams for graduating as OBGYN ?
replies appreciated.

You take CREOGs every year in January of your residency. You take your written boards at the end of your fourth year (from my understanding) and then you compile your case list and take your oral boards a few years after finishing residency. You also take Step 3 early in residency.

Not looking forward to this next year. 😉

CREOG is in in service exam given to OB/Gyn residents in the US
Like every specialty a once a year exam is to prepare you for the written boards and to define your weakness area. The CREOG is broken down in OB, Gyn, REI, Gyn/Onc, preventative and Primary Care, Ethics, Diagnostic Testing etc...

dr. evans, hello!

thanks for taking care of this forum!
i am from a NY program and i am also wondering if we can post here some CREOG questions (of old) for review.

and do you have any news with your program's rank list this year?
i know someone who interviewd with your program. how many interviewed, and how many shall be ranked. any foreign grads/IMG you're accepting? and how many from your university are you accepting? pre-match?

thanks!

CREOGS had focus on Internal Medicine this year ICU scenerios, pneumonia. Although routine Obstetrics and Gynecological questions were asked. My best advice is to get the CREOG study guide "Educational Objectives" is an outline book which is posted each year. Your program coordicator should have one.
