SDN is now 1 for 3 at UVA. I will be at UVM. I had one of those 'it's meant to be moments' as I was driving in to school today. I'm a long ways from Vermont, but today on campus I saw a car pulling into the parking garage with a Vermont license plate so I took that as my sign. I hope it is working out well for everyone.

Colorado, my #1 choice! Hopefully, I'll have some time on-the-side to do some elk chasing in Colorado while becoming a pathologist.

Oh, yeah. I bowled a 196 tonight with 7 strikes in a game after not bowling for years. Guess St. Patty's day is rubbing off on me early.

I'm going to Mt. Sinai too!!! I'm soooo excited. I just really hope I can live up to the challenge. Its my #1!!!!! It's a really hard program to match into too. So I feel very lucky!

Congrats! I am very excited too! I talked to the secretary and she said they are all very excited about us and they can't wait to see us! ...It feels nice. 😀

Orientation is in the last week of June so I'll see you there!
 
Its exciting to see where everyone matched. I can't wait to hear what all these programs are like when we all start. So everyone remember to keep posting. We all remember how desparate we were for information during the application process- lets remember to give back a little.

Personally, I can't wait to start. I'm so tired of internal medicine I could scream. One more week to go... I can do it... just keep telling myself that...

Congrats kaw! I got an email from them today saying that they hoped I got the residency of my choice. I was like, um, no. 🙄

On that note, I am extremely excited to be going to Michigan, but am SO tired of people asking me if that was my #1 choice. I almost wish I had never told anybody so that I could lie. I haven't come out and asked anybody if they matched at their first choice! Ok, end rant. 🙂

Wow, that's cruel. I doubt they meant it that way, but perhaps if they'd thought about it just a leeeeetle bit longer ... I was just imagining what it would be like if people said to one another "Oh, congratulations on getting married! Say, was he your first choice?"

Are you done with the sub-I from hell? Just thought I'd, you know, give you a hard time by email about another sensitive topic. Take heart -- May is not that far away! My school's graduation is on Mother's Day, how cool is that?

However, I'm VERY disappointed to hear this sentiment from soon to be doctors ie "who got first?". I was hoping all this kinda thing ended AFTER the "MCAT competition" but I guess I was wrong. 👎

Hi Tappat! Yeah, I don't think people mean it to be cruel. I think people just genuinely want to know. It was ok the first few times but I am just getting sick of it.

I am not quite done with the sub-I from hell. 3 more days!!! I can't wait to get done! Very cool that your graduation is on Mother's Day.
