2007-08 Interview Invites

Congratulations, everyone. you guys got responses from amazing places. I, unlike you wonderful over-achievers :laugh: (just kidding), applied and received invited to interviews to places in the NY/NJ/PA area.. I was just wondering if anyone heard from winthrop hospital yet?

Did you request an interview at Seattle? I thought their website said they don't offer interviews until November unless you specifically ask them to review your file.

Also, is your application complete at Portland? I applied there and haven't heard back yet, but my application is not complete.

No I did not, I just got an e-mail from them saying that I was invited for an early interview. To be honest, I was confused by it......

As for Portland, My app still needs my last LOR and dean's letter. Otherwise, complete.
 
Has anyone heard from Medical College of South Carolina or does anyone know when they typically send out interview invites? Thanks!

reba2223--I applied to MUSC as well...I haven't heard anything yet either and have no idea when they start sending invites. Sorry not to be much more help!
 
I applied about 2-3 weeks ago and so far I've scheduled interviews with the following programs:

Georgetown (just heard today)


Has anyone heard from UW-madison yet? I don't recall seeing it on anyone's lists, but I could have missed it.
 
Wow, regular mail, that is weird! I guess I'll have to wait and see then, my mail is outrageously slow.

from some of the bigger programs?

I got Downstate and Maimonides Med and I submitted on thursday, but the only thing I heard was a neg from CHOP so far!
I was wondering if for FMGs...do they wait for your Deans Letter??
 
The OBGYN board has a nice system where they have a list of all schools offering and the people who have gotten interviews. The people just copy the list add themselves and repost, Anyone want to this? I will get it started.

Just an idea....why don't you turn off your junk email filter. Just for the next couple months. It would be easier to deal with a bit of junk mail then to worry about missing something important. 😀
