Hey guys, so my DAT is in 6 days (taking it Sept 5.) and I am planning to take the 2007/2009 DATs this weekend. However I have read a lot of mixed things regarding what sections to do for these tests. Should I do the entire exam timed for both of them, or do only certain sections, if so which ones? Thanks!

2007 is really easy (except I struggled a bit on the bio for 2007). 2009 is good for sciences but there are many errors that you can go back and fix so you get an accurate score. I only did the sciences for both tests and it went fine for me. Good luck!

Because 2007 is much easier and with only 6 days left I suggest you finish the 2009 science sections and reading.Your time will be better spent focusing on any areas of weakness which you will discover after the 2009 test. If using the Destroyers stick to the work, that is your life line.

The 2007 DAT is relatively easy compared to the real thing (Although I scored similarly), and as said above the 2009 is around the same difficulty.
I would recommend taking the full 2007 timed a few weeks before your test, but since you are close to finishing your studies, I would say you should take the 2009 (I only took the SNS because I heard the RC and QR were not representative of the real thing. I would recommend just taking the SNS for the 2009).

There are errors in the 2009, what I did was took the tests and then went through and found the errors and corrected for them.

I took the full 2007 and only the science sections of 2009. Even though 2007 is easier than the real DAT, my scores on both of those exams were pretty similar my real scores. I'd definitely recommend you take both exams and see where you stand.
