2007 cycle

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Not too late but if you can, do it earlier. Why at the end of July? Remember you don't need your DAT or letters or rec to submit it.

because i want to study for the dat in the summer and what if i do poorly in the test i will waste the money that i will pay to aadsas.

The earlier you apply the greater your advantage. If you apply later and either don’t get in or limit your choices (for what will surely be the most competitive cycle in resent history) you will also waste the money you pay to AADSAS. Apply as early as possible (this should be around mid May). This can not be stressed enough.

Submit your AADSAS materials as early as possible. If you wait until you take the DAT, schools won't get your info until late August or September. If you submit everything in may, then AADSAS can verify all your GPA's, mail out your info to the schoolsand then they will just be waiting for your DAT's. If you're going to study all summer for the DAT, then do well. If you prepare, you will do fine. If you wait on everything and something happens (professor procrastinates on LOR, AADSAS loses a transcript, etc.) you might do great, but still not get in. If you're scores are good you can submit in July and get in, but it might be a whole lot more stressful.
