Since nobody has posted this message, I will start it out for all Rush waitlist this year. Has anybody heard anything about Rush waitlist yet?
 
yea while i was uic yesterday to turn in some forms, etc. I stopped by rush just to find out what's going on. So far they have not created the ranked waitlist...they expect to do that within a week or 2. hope this helps.
 
I just withdrew from the Rush waitlist. So it has just gotten slightly easier for you guys. I wish you all the best.

I'm about to withdraw an acceptance, so another spot for all of you will be coming.
 
The ranking of waitlist is not going to be ready until next week. I was kind of disapointed after I called today. I wonder when this torment will end? I guess I should keep my head up for another week. Good luck to all Rush waitlists alright. I personally feel your pain as this process lingers on.
 
I withdrew my acceptance. I have two friends who are on the Rush waitlist. I hope my spot goes to them or a worthy SDN'er!
 
I hope one of your friends will get your seat too.
 
i stopped by rush again today. the rank is out...call them this friday...just thought i'd keep u up to date. peace

I can't bear to wait till Friday to call Rush, so I called them today. The receptionist gave me a very vague response about the ranking. She told me that the top 25% has still not been determined. All candidates are grouped either in the top 50 or bottom 50. She also told me to call back next week to find out who will be in the top 25. Is she just tries to cheer me because I am in the Top 50 or is that really the case for this matter? Has anybody know they ranked in the Top 25? Hey, regardless to what happens, I am sending my deposit to Ohio to lock my seat next week.
 
They told me the same thing.

How many peeps does Rush take from their waitlist normally? How big is the total waitlist at any given school?

THey told me the same thing they told ya'll - not sure what to think about this top 50% crap. Hopefully it will work out for us all.
 
Hey guys, I called Rush last Friday (5/23) and was told I was in the top 25% of the waitlist. I don't know how good that is but they also said they would be making some decisions this week. Hopefully we will all receive good news from them soon! Good luck🙂

I think we should call. Like you, I got a totally different response. I got that from the director herself on Thrusday last week.
 
Hey guys. I called Rush today. I found out I am in the Top25% as well. However, they refused to tell what spot I am exactly in. Also, they did not offer me an idea of when they will start to pull people off this list. I suspect it will be Monday of next week.
 
I'm in the top 25% too! Let's keep our fingers crossed. The lady I spoke to said they usually get through the top 25%.

Nope, still anxiously waiting, although time is running short for me since I will be out of the country until classes start and I already have an apartment set up somewhere else!! Good luck to you guys🙂
 
For all anxious waitlisters out there, I will update the following info. to relieve some of your tension. I called Rush today. The receptionist told me the director is out of town. She will be back tommorrow and hopefully will have the pulling info. ready by Wednesday. It seems they already decided who they want to pull. Yet, they still have to wait for the director to gather them together in order to become official. So, I guess we just have to wait for two more days.
 
Did anyone try calling today?
 
I am tired of calling. I will just wait.
 
I wish more people will join this posting. It is so dull to have only adrexel, opus, and me.
 
Yeah, I wish more people would share their information. I am sure there are more Rush wait listers out there. It looks like they are just trying to take info from this thread without giving any (looking at the number of views). Oh well, it's nice to know there are others out there waiting for this process to be over with. I know if I get in Rush I will be withdrawing my other applications. Is Rush the first choice for you guys too?
 
Yup, Rush is #1 for me...just hope we can make it work out!🙂
 
Hey guys. I'm also on the waitlist but on the bottom 50% so it's kind of depressing reading the posts with you guys on the top 25%. I'm happy for you guys and hope everything works out but this was the reason that I had not been posting. I'm sure there are others in my position also.

First choice over here, too! Here's hoping...
 
I don't care what you rank. I think you have great talent since you got thus far. I meet people regardless their status. I am so happy that you posted. Do you have other schools as back up? Hey, if you want to talk, feel free to pm me.

Bump...I guess it's the middle of the night in Chicago(I'm in Finland right now) but I am going to call Rush once it's past 830 there! I will probably get the same vague responses as everyone else has been getting though! AHH this is so frustrating!🙁

Hey all, I just called and they said there hasn't been any movement off the waitlist yet. She said it would be soon but didn't give a date. Well, that means I am pretty much out of time....I promised myself I would only wait until next week. I'll keep checking back but good luck to the rest of you!🙂
 
What do you mean by out of time? Are you accepting another school over Rush? Did you ask the receptionist for the reason of delaying?
 
Hello, the receptionist wouldn't tell my anything except that they hadn't pulled anyone yet. What I mean by running out of time is that my husband and I had set a deadline for waiting on Rush and that is next week. Now he's telling me we should still wait since he knows they are my number one choice, but I know it's best not to....see we are out of the country b/c of his job and he will be here until October and I until school starts. I already have an apartment in N. Chicago(for CMS) that we have to start paying on in a couple of weeks (w/ a 1yrlease) and from what i've heard that will be way too long of a commute to Rush. As time goes on it will become increasingly difficult to change plans/schools since I need somewhere to live and we need a plan. Anyway, this probably all sounds crazy but things can get complicated when you are half a world a way from where the action is! Oh I've convinced myself to hold out a little longer.....good luck to all!😛
