Hey guys - my knees are still a bit weak but thought I let you know that the waitlist is definetly moving!!! Best of luck to you guys.
P.S. - To give you more incentive to compulsively check your e-mail know that the acceptance message came by e-mail and said that I will soon be getting a formal acceptance by registered mail.

Hey guys, I just got the email from Jan! I feel so much better now. So, does anyone know where (or what area) they are going to be living in? I am kind of worried about safety in that area! Also, I'm assuming some of you already got the acceptance packet...did it have any additional info in it about the school? I am wondering b/c I won't get the packet until I come back to IL in late July. Any info would help..thanks a lot!

The package is very thin. It contains the formal acceptance letter and immunization form. On the letter, it also tell you what to do in order to hold on to your seat. The deposit is $100 (surprisingly cheap). It also tell you to submit your official transcript. That's about it. I was expecting a little bit more than that. I hope more info. will be on its way.

i'll be living in on-campus housing. 🙂 yea the area's bad but the complex supposedly should be secure. u guys know if they have meal plans or something like that? (too lazy to cook 😀) see u guys in september!

Hey, are any of you familiar with the Chicago area?? I guess more of the west suburbs....I am going to look at apartments in the Oakbrook Terrace, Lombard, Villa Park area when I return to the states and was wondering if anyone had actually been out that way? I just don't want to waste my time if it's too far or too pricey. (mapquest says it's only 17 miles but i know that can take a long time to drive!) Oh and has anyone received any more info about orientation or anything? Thanks for any info...can't wait to start classes!

WHERE YA BEEN, STRANGER? PM me. My last exam was July 3rd and I have about a month off before i go back to finish the last 4 months of my basic sciences. wooooohooooooo. and yes, it did totally suck to be studying for exams in freakin' July, but for 1.5 yrs basic sciences, i guess it all evens out.
i'll be in chicago sometime toward the end of july so we should totally get together and hang out.
