Yeah, got the same thing, thought it was interview but then second thought...it would be an email LOL.
If you haven't noticed many people ask why they haven't gotten interviews yet, but it's only those of us with high scores that get bashed for it. Everyone's allowed to be upset when they haven't heard from a school. There's nothing wrong with that.

that's why i kind of wish that all schools were rolling-ish. why string people along? just reject someone early if you know you're not interested so the person can put your school out of their mind. also, then we'd know that no news would usually = good or neutral news, not bad news. meh.

And to the guy who said we sounded entitled, I did not mean to. I just want an interview at Harvard! I don't think I necessarily deserve one.
I kinda agree with this; it'd be so much better if they were rolling. Knowing you are out / not out yet is so much better than dragging it along. It's like when you want to break up with someone - just go tell them already! Don't string 'em along.

Well if the second brochure contains a bunch of information that puts HMS in a negative light and comments on terrible smells and reasons why you probably wouldn't want to come...

i got a second one too! maybe if you applied to both np and hst? they seem not to talk to each other too much.

based on your app they probably figured you're the kind of person that needs to be told twice about everything. it's not a BAD quality per se... you're just the, uh, careful type
Just wondering... did anyone else get an interview email? I would never expect one from Harvard considering that I have a low (actually super low) MCAT score and this is the first interview email I received.

5500 applications; 800 interviews. that's what they told us on interview day. congrats! i really believe that harvard looks at things other than stats (my MCAT is not off the charts) so you've certainly got a shot

complete date does not 100% dictate interview invite date. personally, i have gotten interview invites at a few schools that seemingly bypassed my complete date and then came back to me. so relax, and please stop posting the same questions over and over! 😛

I didn't receive a single brochure either 🙁. I was complete end of August I think. The completion date doesn't seem to matter though just like at other schools. There doesn't seem to be any order to it.

Brochure arrived yesterday. My mom completely tore it open, and later said she thought it was ok to open my mail because I told her she could check my MCAT score online while I was in class the day it was supposed to come out since she was so anxious to know and it was past due. The brochure definitely got my parents excited. She told me as if I didn't know that thick envelopes are a good thing. Funny parents.
Hi so question. Am I correct in that the NP app basically had no essays if you are applying straight out of college? Also, I mean its not a huge deal because I didn't submit my app until late December, but is there some LOI I can send? I just feel that essays are one of my strong suits and not having one kinda cut my legs out from under me for this one. I want HMS to know cool I am haha.
you are correct about the no essays bit. but... how are you talking about december in past tense? i'm confused.
and it is way too early for an LOI, in my opnion.

My mom also called me all excited about the brochure. I also received a second brochure from them a few days later. I assume she learned her lesson the first time.
