Hi all! I found out that I am in the top 1/3 of the alternate list. I'm wondering who else is on the alternate list. Who is going to accept, when we finally get the official invitation, and who will turn it down for other schools? I would love to start a facebook group to meet other people on the alternate list, or at least chat on here to get to know some potential classmates. I know that last year, an unusual number of bs/md students took a third year. I wonder how it will be this year? I know a handful of students in various stages of NEOUCOM and they all love the school.

Anyway, just a post to get to know potential future classmates!

Hi, I just wondered if anyone has heard about any movement on the alternate list at NEOUCOM yet for the class of 2014. I am in the middle section and have not heard anything. Thanks, Don.

Any major waitlist movement at NEOUCOM will likely happen near the end of June after they finalize the incoming BS/MD class.

I was middle 1/3 last year and accepted June 20-something.

Don, I was actually in the top 1/3 for the graduating class of 2014 and was just called around May 20th. I was quite excited since NEOUCOM had told me that I would not hear from them until late June/ early July for sure. He also said there really hasn't been too much movement yet.

I know a girl who is an M1 this year. She said there were about 48 direct entry students last year, mostly because a lot of the bs/md students took a third year in the b.s. part because of low MCAT scores. No promises that this is completely accurate though. Perhaps this year's bs/md class will have issues with the MCAT as well.

I got accepted on 7/8 and I was in the middle portion of the alternate list. I was wondering where most students live and if there is somewhere I can find people looking for roommates.
