When would you consider the start of fall and the end of summer?
 
i got and submitted my secondary a few days ago...really wanna get in here
 
For some reason I can't login to the Temple Secondary site. I want to submit the application. Anyone know why that is and how long it will last for. thanks
 
I still can't log-in to the secondary site, it's been like 10 hours. Maybe there is something wrong with my log-in. Anyone else having trouble logging in?
 
Any idea what the problem could be or ho long it might last? I don't know if its site maintenance because it's been so long since my log-in last worked. I have been trying to call the admissions office but no one is picking up.
 
Ive had that problem on and off. If my login didn't work it did the next day and this has happened a couple of times over the last two weeks, so I wouldn't worry...
 
Finally got an interview email from Temple for my interview...already scheduled.

I just got mine today too. The confirmation e-mail that they sent me after doesn't show the time or date though. Anyone else get that error?
 
does anyone know what's the chance of being accepted here after interview? thanks!
 
Did you just get the invite today? or did your status change on the website and you just got the email today?

I got the e-mail invite today then I logged in and saw that my status changed.
 
So, for those of you filling out the Temple secondary, how are you choosing which clinical campus youre interested in? I've gone to the websites for each one, but since I have no preferance for a specialty right now it's nearly impossible to come up with a decent reason for why I am interested in a specific location... any thoughts? Anyone from the philly area have any advice on the hospitals?
Do more people go to a satellite campus or stay in Philly?

i did mine based on personal exp. i went to Pitt and really like pittsburgh so i made that my #1., philly was #2 because the facility is exceptional...i cant remember how i ranked the other two, because they are actually small hospitals i figured they wouldnt be as conducive to my broad medical education....just hopin to get pitt or philly

No ties for me. Temple is just another medical school I applied to.
 
Okay, so my secondary doesn't include the question about why you chose that particular clinic? Am I still expected to explain this?

Thanks, you are totally right. I found it too. But, I do have a question. I have been looking at the websites for the four different clinic sites, and frankly, I have no idea which one should be my top choice, let alone why I am choosing it. Any thoughts on how to distinguish between them or maybe how to sort through them?

Just put what really interests YOU about this school.

I've noticed that you've asked people what they put for secondary essay prompts/questions in several school threads.... :eyebrow: Just research the school, and you'll see what it has to offer. I would just try to write how I feel so that you'll sound sincere during interviews.
 
i feel like ive been "under review" here forever..(its been like 2 weeks lol)..how long do ppl usually have this status?
 
Sadly, I think some people have this status all application cycle long...until the official rejection comes along.

But, keep hope alive. It's only Sept 2!!!!
 
Yay finally a first interview 🙂 Was complete near the beginning of August.

Interview Invite! Wed 9-2-09; first one!
I feel so grateful and lucky! Such quick turnaround, I was surprised that I'll be interviewed this early! Now it's to practice, practice, and practice!

Complete 8-4-09

My stats are a bit below average (30, 3.6 overall), and I'm OOS and not disadvantaged or minority

They might have liked something about my extracurriculars or statement, don't know.

I hope this gives hopes to you who are below average! Best of luck

hopefully this bodes well for me.. We have almost the same state (30, 3.7).. Wasn't complete till 8/17 though..

There are student hosts...they just sent out emails to ask if anyone is interested in doing it. Next week, I think the 9th, they will have it posted on tmo.
 
does anyone know the earliest interview dates at temple that are still available? thanks!

they want us to rank them, and then include a brief blurb about our top choice in our "why temple" essay.

anybody receive an interview who has been verified after 8/17?
 
Still no updated student host list eh? Looks like I should book a hotel huh, seeing as my interview is next week.
