So... I just finished taking the 2009 DAT practice test, and I am FREAKING out cause I did terribly..
My scores are below:
Gen chem: 18
O chem: 17
Bio: 19
RC: 18
QR: 17
PAT: 21

On my last Bootcamp tests my scores were:
Gen chem: 20
O chem: 18
Biology: 19
RC: 18
QR: 20
PAT: 19

Should I be worried??? My test is this SATURDAY :arghh:

As far as I'm concerned the RC and QR on 2009 test are ridiculous, but the science section is a fair predictor. If you don't feel ready or have not hit your goals yet, do not be afraid to reschedule your test.

Depends on what your goals are for each section. If you feel like you are not ready, there's nothing wrong with rescheduling until you are!

Being worried is different from being unprepared.. If you feel like you understand what you got wrong and why you got it wrong then I don't see a problem. Confidence is a huge factor on this test. My AA scores on avg were around 19... I felt like I hit a plateau and I was losing confidence fast. But I just kept working (on more problems and exams) and eventually pulled a better score on the DAT. The tests in the past are history. Those scores are not something to use as a marker for exams in the present :cat:

If I were you I would take notes and review all the science things you got wrong and understand why they are wrong. There was a post I read awhile back and someone said they bombed the 2009 ADA and ended up getting mostly 20's on the actual test. It really all depends on the version you get test day, but the 2009 is also a predictor, which doesn't mean anything is set in stone. On the 2009 I got a 17 in OC and a 21 in GC and on my actual I got an 18 on GC and a 23 on OC. You never know. Good Luck!

Hey! How did you guys score your 2009 practice test? I'm assuming the 2007 grading scale is different, but the 2009 conversion chart was not included with my exam. Thanks!
