2009 ADA Sample DAT vs. Real DAT
Started by absurd
It depends on which DAT version you see. During June and early July, the consensus was the actual was very similar to the 2009. Lately the consensus is the actual is way harder than the 2009.
The only consistent assessment has been the QR section -- the actual is easier than the 2009.

I scored almost 25 or higher on every section of the 2009 ADA Practice Test. I thought it was much easier than the real thing. I ended up scoring 20AA 20TS 22RC and 22PA.
However, the scoring system was different since the way you tabulate the practice test is just a standard ADA measurement. For the real test it is measured against other candidates who have taken the same exam as you.
I did feel it helped a bit, but I am partial to Topscore since in my opinion it helped me the most.

I scored better on the real thing. The QR is DIFFICULT on the 2009 test.

That's quite scary.

Yeah but thats cause I could've been lucky when taking the practice test. I wouldn't worry though cause that was just my opinion. I'm sure you'll do fine, you're from CAL.

you probably took the practice test without a timer. Did you? bc its alot more different when the timer is running down.

I took the practice test with the same parameters as the real one. I guess I got lucky, but I'm just glad that I didn't score under 20 in any of the sections for the real test.
