Being the anxious waitlisted applicant I am, I did a little digging for info on last year's thread. I noticed that 2nd interviews with the deans were a big topic around April. Almost all people who posted did their 2nd interviews in person, and some were even accepted on the day of their 2nd interview!
mmmcdowe...if I am lucky enough to be offered a 2nd interview, I'm thinking about the fact that I live in CA. Toting myself to NY would be super expensive and would interrupt work. I know phone interviews are an option, but are they more of an exception? Do the deans prefer in-person interviews? Even if they do not express a preference, I can't help but think that one would have an automatic advantage interviewing in person... any thoughts?
Wow, I've been thinking too much about this considering I don't even know whether I'll be offered another interview, ha.
