2010 Applicant Here.

I haven't asked any of my professors for LOR's. I just got back my spring grades and they weren't that great.

Also, my GPA is currently 2.994 but if I manage to do really well this upcoming year, I can raise to a 3.34 AADSAS GPA while my science would be a bit lower.

I haven't taken the DAT yet but I'll study for it from Mid August to Mid September (is this enough time?) and I'll take it late September

I'll be applying to all the Cali schools and I REALLY want to go to USC or Western U.

What would be your guys's advice and projections? Thanks!

IMHO, I think getting into a CA school may prove a little difficult with a 2.994 and no DAT scores. But hey, IF you can get a 25 AND write a killer PS AND get killer LORs, then I'd say apply. As it stands, I'd spend my money on making myself a candidate they can't say no to, instead of the application process.

And apply much earlier.

End up september? isn't it tooo late to take DAT?

Did you send your application yet?

No no...by 2010 applicant, I mean I'm applying May of 2010.

I hope to get above average DAT scores but everyone says that lol.

My GPA will be higher. Trust me lol. 3.2 range.

nice, but still aim for the stars and get your gpa as high as possible. If needed, take a heavier course load and get the best grades you can. THAT way, you'd be doing the most that you can do. Maybe do some research on the side too, since they give you free A's :meanie: (if you do the work and try as hard as you can).
