ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 Sent 1:30 EST. And my last name starts with L, so I'm following the alphabet trend so far. Interviewed in November.

Congratulations, Candav! If money is equal, which school are you leaning towards between Duke and Johns Hopkins? Either way, you have two great options.

Thanks for the kind words! Money will definitely not be equal; I'm Canadian and Hopkins has the most stringent escrow policy for international students of any school I applied to. I'm keeping all options open for now, though it looks like the second look weekends at these two schools overlap so I may have to decide sooner rather than later.

Haha, I've been wondering the same thing. After all, I'd like to know why I didn't get in. Although, honestly, I didn't expect to get in with how those MMIs went.

Yeah I thought my interviews went pretty well... I'm going to be demanding a very thorough explanation as to why I didn't get accepted haha
maybe there will be a second wave of letters for acceptance...............my last name seemed to be passed over too 🙁 🙁 🙁 but still hoping.....

*sigh* me too; they really should consider being more selective about interviews next year, it's such a tease
I just read that you felt your interviews went well -- I felt the same thing. 😛 Most stations were fun and interesting, and only one station left me feeling that I had missed something. Maybe the evaluators were just told to smile and nod, regardless of how badly we were crashing and burning. That could be why we felt good. 😀

- I now think MMIs are much harder to judge than regular interviews.
