Thanks dude, most definitely plan to. Good luck to you as well.

does your status usual say interview complete...final decision pending and then change to just final decision pending, or is it always the latter? i know that there was a change last year and i just want to gauge if i might hear back the 15th or not.
thanks! :luck: to all!!

+1...does anyone know the answer to this?

What do we know about the update? Do a ton of people hear on Dec 15th?

That's what they told us on my interview day (11/4). I would imagine this covers people from the entire month.

What'd they say exactly at your interview day? Last year, only people who interviewed before about 11/10 heard...at least people who posted on the forum.

As usual, the process is quite opaque: we just heard the Dec. 15th date and nothing more to qualify it. That said, it seems like a lot of people who interviewed in October and earlier heard back already this year. So maybe the Dec. 15th update will include more people, in that case?

Let's all hope for 12/15 acceptances 🙂 . Otherwise, I think you have to wait a few more months until they give out any more acceptances :scared:

I interviewed on Oct. 19th. Haven't heard anything yet. But, in accordance with last year, acceptances thus far have been few and sparse. With that said, I believe Dec. 15th is the big day for October interviewees in addition to those who interviewed in Nov.

If you're not accepted on the 15th do they continue to review you?

+1. Interviewed in early November, so if I don't hear back the 15th, is it almost surely a rejection or a waitlist? Are most of the acceptances given then? Or will there be another significant round later on? As you can tell, I'm clearly getting nervous about next week... :scared: :xf:

Ahhh! My interview is on 12/20.

Super excited and nervous.

I know I know. I got a rejection from Cornell today, and was super down for 2 seconds. Then, all of a sudden I got nervous about the whole process all over again.

And I totally forgot that I got accepted into medical school already. This process sucks BUTT. 🙁

Dude, you have a Harvard interview and have been accepted to a great school. Just chill and let life happen. 🙂

how awful it must be for you.

My secondary was complete 10/13, and I haven't heard anything since... If the last of the interviews are in January, I guess I should just assume a rejection at this point. 🙁 ??

Depends... are you optimistic or pessimistic? The optimist will see all of us that got IIs like last month and were complete during the summer. The pessimist will see other pessimists scared that they are through and realize that they were completed late and therefore will most likely get a late II...

I wish I could make myself hope for the best instead of expecting the worst!

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst (everyone kept beating about the idiom)

Good luck! I hope we all hear some good news by the end of the week :xf:

Is this your top choice?
