I feel like we're getting to this point with a lot of programs. My last interview invite came on October 11th, and the interview list thread has been pretty slow lately....

I think if we're going to do this, it makes more sense to only list the programs that actually send out rejection letters. If nothing else it will help applicants next year who are wondering whether they are still in limbo versus de facto rejected😉

I recently uploaded a fourth LoR, out of the 5places that I am waiting to hear from, 3 have retrieved it and 2 have not. I wonder if my application is still active in the ones who uploaded it but not active for the others.

i wouldn't read too much into it - one program that rejected me very early continued to retrieve my LoRs, transcript and MSPE!

LOL!! Im sorry splik, I had to laugh at this one, sigh, I guess it happens to the best of us...Could they at least put some organization to it all though?

I mean, downloading documents post rejection is not only a waste of employment but just ridick...

aProgDirector once posted that apparently the way ERAS is set up, you have no choice but to download all of the unseen documents from everyone when you access ERAS. Apparently it's normal for a program to keep downloading stuff from applicants that they've rejected. This also means that if you haven't had your stuff downloaded yet it means that the program hasn't been downloading anyone else's info either.

So I guess its possible that the programs taht have uploaded my stuff are still reviewing SOME applications, even if they aren't mine, and that the ones that have yet to upload my LoR haven't be on to review ANYONEs application in some time indicating that those may be the rejections that do not send out rejection letters.
