Hello,
Are you applying with your significant other? 😍 How has the process been for yawl? Througout this whole -long- interview season, I have only met two other couples.

I figured I would pass the time with an official thread to hear the shiny stories and the scruffy ones (i.e. driving in NY city, with a Garmin that couldn't get reception in the tall buildings and crazy drivers! It was a bonding (and later bragging rights) type of ordeal.

My husband applied to Pharmacy school at UK this cycle (and just got accepted!!) and I'll be applying to dental school a little late - not till next cycle. But we've been going through the stress and excitement of getting everything together.

I'm sure next fall - with him starting pharmacy school 2 hours away from where I'll be finishing undergrad - will be pretty hectic, especially as we wait to hear back on whether or not I get accepted! c:

My husband is in his first semester of law school right now and I am applying to DS this cycle. Hopefully we will both be in the same city, but there is a chance we could be in different states for the next 2 years. I am keeping my fingers crossed everything works out. My fiancé and I have applied together, but only have one school in common that we interviewed at. Hope we both get in!

Separation is what we have worked really hard to avoid (applied to .. 19 schools)

We have friends that applied to Dental and Medical school two years ago, and are attending a Texas school together this year (in state).

My woman and I applied to dental school (me) and vet school (her). Too bad she didn't get all of her paperwork in on time and has to wait til' next year. 🙄

At one of my interviews there was a married couple, both were D3's and involved with the admissions process... so yeah it happens. But probably not too common. All I can think of is, wow, they are gonna have a lot of debt when they get out 🙁

my boyfriend and i went through the entire application cycle together (for the SECOND time). last time, neither of us got interviews. this time, we had everything organized and in on time.. and we had FIVE interviews on the same day!!! we're so happy and excited for tomorrow. this time last year, i was worried sick about having to go to different schools. we're incredibly lucky but we've also worked so hard over the past year.
