Congrats to those of you who were accepted today! 🙂 I posted this earlier, but I think there is a high chance it got passed over with so many posts today.

Anyway, I am looking for a female HMS first-year to room with next year! Rent is ~$600/mo, 7 min walking distance from campus, lease period: May 1, 2014 - Apr 30, 2015. PM me if you are interested!

Rejected. After the double-waitlists from Yale and Columbia, it wasn't really a surprise, but I'll be sad to move from Boston. BUT I'm excited for all of you who made it (you guys deserve it!) and will be rooting for all of you on the waitlist! I don't understand why. I think people should be free to use as many sources of information as possible in such an important process. Nothing wrong with using US News as one such source in my opinion - it just shouldn't start and end there.

Anyway, rant over. I believe March 11th is a date that has been floating around recently.

Last year Harvard and Hopkins were on the same weekend. Now that Stanford took the #2 spot this past year, Harvard coordinated precisely. Oh application year, what a fun time that was. 😍😍😍😍

My undergraduate adviser is a professor at HMS, and s/he says that they usually don't accept people off the waitlist. Take that for what it's worth. I would want to know that information if I were on the waitlist.

On the other hand, I definitely know a person taken off the waitlist last year, so it does happen, though it may not be very common.
