2013 Ophthalmology Residency Interview Travel Cost Sharing Spreadsheets

If you wanna try to share travel costs (hotels, cabs, rental cars, etc) with other interviewees, use this spreadsheet to get in touch with people interviewing the same place and day as you!

For each program, there's one column per interview date. I didn't look up the actual dates for every program, so it'd be awesome if you guys could help fill in the dates on each spreadsheet. Use the format Nov 1st, Dec 15th, etc

Under the date you're interviewing, put your SDN username and/or email address (or any throwaway account that you want people to use to contact you).

I'm sure there are probably better ways to do this, but this is the best I could come up with at the moment, so I hope this system works relatively well and helps everyone save some money on the interview trail! 🙂

Use the spreadsheets instead of posting on this thread in case people check the spreadsheets but don't read the thread. I know this spreadsheet thing isn't really catching on too well this year, but maybe next year it'll work better once there's been a precedent for it.

I just split a room 4 ways and our lodging came out to $25/night for a 2 night stay and our van-cab back to the airport was split 5 ways so it was only $15/person!
