Funny thing was I wasn't even going to apply DO, just ACGME. but added some DO places a couple weeks ago as backup.

It's really incredible who you get interviews and rejections from... and by incredible I mean random. On the same day last week I received an interview invite from a top tier EM program (in the top 5 on that doximity thingy) where I had no ties AND a rejection from a solidly middle tier program in a region I had multiple ties.

This process is ridiculous and arbitrary

Called 3 schools today that I thought were not reaches for me and got rejected by all 3 over the phone lol. Needless to say that that was a pretty low moment for me, but the season isn't over yet to be disappointed even further + Albany, Baystate, NYU
