Agreed, this isn't the right place for the thread, but I will answer you with my opinion.
Low competitive is a relative term. There are schools off the coast of FL that will take anyone with $6000 in their pocket. But if we are talking strictly US schools...
DO schools generally are a little more forgiving than MD. I don't think this has anything to do with the quality of the schools, and has everything to do with supply and demand. DO schools are underrated by pre-meds, who compete aggressively for spots in MD programs. DO ends up with fewer applicants, so their seats don't fill as quickly, leaving some spots for people who wouldn't have made it into an MD program.
For me, this is great. With a science GPA of 3.6 and MCAT 37, I feel pretty confident about getting my pick of the DO schools to which I applied.
