Just randomly got a complete email. Theres still hope lol.
complete 7/2, no update 🙁
It says in the complete email that they do not necessarily review applications in the order of completion.

For a guide to our policies, procedures, and information about the admissions process, please download our 2014-2015 College of Medicine Admissions Information Booklet from our website at:

Our office will be using email to communicate with you about your College of Medicine application throughout this processing cycle. Please set your email account to accept messages from the SUNY Downstate Admissions Office email account ([email protected]).
You will be notified of any further action on your application, or if the Admissions Committee would like to receive additional documentation. Applications are not necessarily reviewed in the order they are completed, and the process may take some time due to the large number of applications being submitted.
In the meantime, please refrain from calling the Office of Admissions if your questions relate to the status of your application. Questions other than those dealing with the status of your application may be sent to the Admissions Office via email at [email protected].

I got the "complete" e-mail July 1, although I'm pretty sure they do a random review. And my LizzyM is 70+

Can anyone weigh in on this? I'm in a similar situation and I'm unsure if I should just post my re-take or both times I took it.
Looks like they only invite OOSers with high stats :/

Unfortunately, I had to reschedule my interview because of conflicting interview at another school... Contacted them via email yesterday, but still no response. I may just call on Monday if I don't hear anything before then.

Anyone who requested a new interview date get a reassignment yet?
I contacted them on 8/7 and they got back to me on 8/11 with a new (earlier) date.

Just called them and I was told that we do not receive an email acknowledging or Interview Invite confirmation, if anyone was wondering.
strange...i'll just let it play out..
Can any current students comment on the interview here? My interview here on Tuesday is my first one, and I'm starting to feel unprepared. I looked at the interview feedback, but I feel like I could have prepared more for ethics/current events/healthcare etc. Is it mainly behavioral/screening, or do they typically ask a lot of those topics?
