GOT INTO MINNESOTA!!! my number 1 of my interviews to date! So psyched right now. Gonna grab a beer or three!!

Congratulations! Getting into a medical school is great, but getting into your top choice is the best ever!

I think this is my first post in this thread, haha. Thanks for helping me find it, Nutty 🙂

Anyways, it's been a rollercoaster of a day. Great time at U Cincinnati, I feel like I did pretty well in the MMI....

On the other hand, wait listed at Michigan (was my top choice). Pretty much a rejection since they don't take anybody off the wait list (at least they haven't in recent years). Bummed 🙁

Heading to Wisconsin soon for MCW on Friday (Eighth interview ... I guess the show goes on?)

Major congrats Entadus! 👍 You totally deserve this!

(whine, whine, whine, whine, whine 😀) No word from Case for me... yet. And the rest of my schools announce their decisions much later. (sigh)

But I'm truly happy for all who got accepted so far. You rock! 🙂

You can PM me, but I've decided to keep my exact list of interviews and acceptances off SDN until all the info is in and all decisions are made. Just a matter of keeping a personal comfortable level of anonymity 😉

It is a school I would happily go to 🙂

I'm terrible at keeping my anonymity (so I basically hardly bother 😀), but I understand other people's desire to remain anonymous here, so it's OK 🙂
In any case, it's great that it's a school you really like! Congrats!

Honestly I've been a bit hesitant to post but I'm so excited I can't contain it anymore!

Received my 13th II (7DO/6MD) last week to one of my top choices and my 3rd acceptance today, it was my first allopathic one 🙂
Since my first acceptance a couple weeks ago it finally hit me that I am going to become a doctor :soexcited:

Go non-trads!

One week down, no news. Which I suppose is better than being waitlisted or rejected. At least Brown has a set day for a decision.

MedWonk, I'm in the same boat: most of my schools start releasing their decisions mid-November and later, and the only school that starts releasing decisions mid-October won't release decisions for my interview date for another 3-4 weeks. So, I'll have to wait till mid-November anyway. But, I can imagine, this time of the year must be even more nerveracking for people waiting for their first IIs.
By the way, it's kind of funny how you and I have exactly the same numbers of IIs and rejections without a single school overlap.

Congrats to everyone who has already been accepted!!! I am still waiting for AMCAS to verify my application (just got my MCAT scores back last week). *fingers crossed*

Have an interview coming up this weekend, then it's bone dry. Unluckily for me, it's also in the middle of test season this semester, hope I dont appear too stressed 😛

Interview #5 (and last one) this Friday. As much as I'm loving all these days I'll be glad to give my car a break. I'm fairly sure I have my #1 so far but really I've loved all the schools I've been to.
 
Had a busy last few days, with three interviews at very good schools in the northeast Ohio/western pa area. Really dug a certain five year program. Also got rejected from Rochester pre-interview and waitlisyed post-interview at Toledo, in state. I half suspect it's because I was honest to a fault with my interviewers there, but oh well, I withdrew anyway. Also cancelled my interview and withdrew from iowa today.
 
And.... just picked up acceptance no. 5!!!!

I'll post details after i talk to my wife- she's always the first person I tell but she's away right now

I have a suspicion that the three very good schools in northeast Ohio/western PA are some of my top choices, including a certain five year program (glad you liked it, 'cause it's certainly not for everyone) 😛

I'm preparing for 3 upcoming interviews at the highest ranked schools on my list (also known to be quite generous). I'm still not sure if I believe I'm interviewing at these schools 🙂 Hope I'm getting better at interviewing with more experience, but you never know.

Congrats! A month after my acceptance I'm still pinching myself and rechecking my letter!
 
First acceptance!!!! Wasn't expecting to hear back for another 3 weeks, at least. So excited!!!! :woot:
