Lol! I'm working around 80 hours per week right now, yet somehow, I find that I have wayyyyyy too much time to check these threads 😉

Just curious, after you submitted your secondary did the MSTP section ever change from "Awaiting Screen" to "Under Review", etc? My application has been complete sine 8/1 and it still says Awaiting Screen... 😵

How important are the MSTP Interviews? What becomes a critical/important factr or criterion after the interview stage?? GPA/MCAT? Letter of rec?

I think the general consensus (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) is that GPA, MCAT, Letters, Essays, etc. are all important for securing an interview slot, and your overall performance on the interview is then the largest factor in determining whether or not you gain admission to the program. Factors that probably will be talked about heavily during the interview are your research experience (especially for MSTP) and clinical experience. Also having a clear career path in mind (even though it may change) is another important aspect, as it indicates that you've really thought about why you want to train through an MSTP. Again, this is just my opinion and I'm sure there are other opinions about this.

I see that Hopkins interviews ~ 60 and accepts about half, ~30. What do you guys say about this? it seems like they have a pretty high percentage acceptance after interview compared to other MSTP programs... I have also heard a rumor that Hopkins MSTP committee would already choose the ones to be accepted even before the interview..(unless the person ruins the interview)

And yes, i know that among the accepted 30, about half of them do not get funding..but still they are accepted anyways.. Can you assume that you are almost into the program once you get an interview?
