I think Penn does since they let you choose on the portal. Not sure about Yale though--might be good to give them a callOh hmm I don't know. My guess is not. Does anyone know if Penn pays for a hotel?

I'm guessing it's a no then. But Penn does! It's not clear from the email but you can say you want a hotel on the survey you fill out!Oh hmm I don't know. My guess is not. Does anyone know if Penn pays for a hotel?
Also, @smiley buckeye and @Sreltraln, did you guys just receive an email from Indiana's SOM with supplemental materials? It looks like a ton of information and the graduate part of it is a bit confusing, but hopefully I can crank this out soon and we can get an actual date for our IIs! So excited!!
@shh-pthway
I just checked my Vandy portal. You're right instead mine says "Successfully reviewd: Your application has been reviewed"
The tab also turned to green (before I think it was gray - their in progress marker I assume)
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like a clear "progress to interview" or rejection though, but hopefully we find out soon, maybe tomorrow! 🙂
(The "Interview" and "Decision" tabs are both also gray, fyi. Are you experiencing anything different from this?)
@starfun21
Thanks for the wishful thinking! Haha, I hope you're right!
Also, I think it's safe to say that if the MSTP director is taking the time to meet with you while you're on campus, then they are pretty interested in you! 🙂
All four of us! 😉LOL, thanks @Neuro_Guy! The MSTP director will actually be hosting the conference and will definitely be there anyway so it's nothing really special, but I will take the chance to say hi and hopefully demonstrate my sanity!Until we hear otherwise, I'll hope it's good news for all three of us who are checking our Vandy portals!!! Crossing my fingers for some IIs for us all soon!
All four of us! 😉
Hey @shh-pthway and @Neuro_Guy! Just checked my Vandy app. My tab is still gray and has the same "under review" message when I hover over it: "Your application is currently under review. We will send you an email if you are chosen to come on campus for an interview." There was a glitch in sending my secondary and I didn't receive it until 8/1/15 (submitted the next day), so that could definitely be it. Otherwise, my guess for myself is that I'm somewhat on-hold... I'm presenting my research at a conference in a couple weeks at Vandy and will meet with the MSTP director while there, so I think they want to meet me and judge my sanity before making any decisions on my app😉. Hopefully yours both turn in to IIs soon though!!!!! Rooting for you two!!

That happened to me with my state school. If it makes no mention of MSTP, it is likely an MD interview. Congrats! And, you can check your UW MSTP portal to double check. It will day something about choosing a date of you got an interview.So I got an II from University of Washington, but it says from SOM (no indication of MSTP)?
Vandy! What a day!
