I've enjoyed learning to be positive from all of you guys this cycle. I would've posted a lot sooner but I've just been rejected left and right and couldn't bring myself to do it. And, with 1 MD acceptance (to NYMC) I probably can't reapply next year either. I haven't been accepted to any MD/PhD programs yet this cycle, but with 2 waitlists I'm still hoping for something.

LOL the wording of this just completely cracked me up. I normally would say thank you for the offerings, but I definitely don't like to see anyone getting any rejections! So you can return these offerings to the senders? Hahaha. But WELCOME! We are very glad to have you here. Sorry that you're feeling in a bit of a limbo with MD/PhD right now :/ Fingers crossed that things quickly improve for you. Keep hanging in there!! I know it's very frustrating to not have definitive answers and to sit on rejections, but know that you will have a bright and shiny future and that you will make it! So sorry to see you here with bad news, @Nanorust . Post-interview rejections sting especially badly, but take comfort in the fact that you were in the top candidates for these suuuper prestigious programs to be invited to interview. This is one of the most competitive application processes out there, and you've done darn well. I'm glad to see that you have decided on your home for the better part of the next decade. Wishing you the best!

Hi peeps! Glad to see this thread has been quiet for a little while.

Has anyone who interviewed heard from OHSU by any chance? I found out they do supposedly send out rejections while sending out acceptances (rather than waiting until the end of the admissions season) but haven't heard anything on here, so I wasn't sure.
