hi guys,
I have a question regarding QR section.
I took the DAT in 2013 summer and taking it around August of 2015.
I am wondering has QR section changed since then?
I remember reading some post last year that QR section is changing soon.
This is the case? Thanks!

Hey- I recently took the DAT and I'm not sure if it's changed. I can say that I didn't get any questions that I'd consider "weird". Any stats or trig that I got wasn't very bizarre, and I didn't see any types of graphs that I had to interpret. I'm not sure what they would've changed, but everything seemed straightforward and I don't think I had any experimental questions. Not sure about others, though.

I had to interpret a graph but it was manageable enough. Math destroyer is the way to go. If you can get 2015 that's great if you can't then it's okay

Thanks pulltheleverknronk!
using Chad's QR notes and MATH destroyer would suffice?
From what I saw, Math Destroyer was great. I agree with @BYU4you. At least learn the formulas that they give you, because those are helpful. I didn't use Chad's for math, but I'm sure those can't hurt. Bootcamp ended up being harder than the real test for me. Use those and you'll feel like the real thing is easier.

I found this on ASDA: "The QR section of the DAT will be changing in 2015. In an effort to enhance the test, questions about numerical calculations, conversions, geometry and trigonometry are being removed. They will be replaced by questions about understanding data analysis, quantitative comparison and probability and statistics."

Does anyone know when this change is applied?
I will taking the exam at the end of August, thus should I study other than off MATH destroyer?
I'm worried cause I don't want to be studying something different than what's going to be on the exam.
Thanks

I honestly didn't even notice a difference... I took it in May and there was nothing that jumped out as weird. It seems like basic math. The harder problems seemed like they were from math destroyer. Use that.

I took the dat in July and did horrible on the QR section (15), I plan to retake it in october. I used Datbootcamp the first time any recommendations on what to use to study for that section?

I took it in 2013 and 2014, I didnt notice any changes from there. I used math destroyer for it and it definitely prepared me enough for it! I ended up with a 21 on the QR.
