So a high composite on the current MCAT is around 32 or greater, what would be expected to be an excellent score on the new MCAT. Do you think it is going to be proportionally similar to the current MCAT? or not? meaning around a 48-52 on the new MCAT would be really good?

Also, what kind of LORs would people recommend are the most important to have? (like evaluating yourself academically, personally, or professionally) Last, who are the most important people to write them? (Doctors, professors, people who lead your volunteer work)

Thanks.

As for your first question I believe they will base it off percentile. As with any new system they do not know what it competitive yet, and their best bet is to base applicants off the percentile they place in. This is all speculation however.

LoRs should be from a variety of settings (academic, professional, volunteering). These I would consider to be the norm because they cast a wide enough net to be able to talk about your qualities and skills from different perspectives in different settings. The most important people to write them in my opinion are people who have known you for a long time and are able to provide a record of your attributes on a profound and intellectually penetrating level. You don't want someone to write you a letter if you have only had cursory interactions with them regardless of their perceived importance.
