11 interviews, 1 from a rotation. Applied "within my means" mostly in midwest. Step 1 below 230, Step 2 below 230, Pass CS.
Pass at home rotation, ? for second SLOE grade.
 
7 interviews, 1 from an away. Applied broadly.

Edit: After reading the post below, wanted to add that I haven't heard from many higher tier schools yet, mostly community/middle/lower tier. Haven't personally heard of anyone getting invites from higher tier programs yet (at least in Southeast) so unsure if many, or any, have been sent.

2 interviews total - one courtesy, the other one after adding 20 community programs recently. Step 1 252, Step 2 not scored yet, 3rd quartile, HP/HP. Applied to major programs in most states but did not add many community programs until now. Almost every program that I initially added has sent out invites by now.

I can count on one hand the number of programs I applied to in the Southeast. All are "brand names." Word of warning to future applicants.

Top quartile, step 1>250, step 2>270. Couple publications, non-EM. H's on the EM rotations.
So far 11 invites. I'm considering going towards a fellowship, so I applied to academic programs, with a few of the more prominent community shops sprinkled in.

Sounds like step 2 is key this year. We probably have a very similar list, but I haven't heard back from any of the programs I initially applied to.
 
Thanks for the stats! It is extremely helpful to see who is having the most success at this early stage. Generally, it looks as if high Step scores and Honors in EM rotations are consistent themes for those snagging early invites. This should come as no surprise, of course, as these are easy screening metrics. I look forward to when ya’ll with Step scores 30 and 40 points higher than mine have full calendars and start canceling. 🙂 Onward!

Fingers crossed! I think it feels particularly competitive this year and the whole process just feels so much more random than maybe it actually is. But the stats are putting everything in context! Thanks everyone. Super helpful to echo what gottakeepitreal said.

Applied 40+, have 10 interviews, mostly 3yr attached to universities and a few academic 4yr programs.

Felt like a normal applicant who over applied due to geography (I'm looking at you California). Fingers crossed we all get more once things start churning.
 
I clearly went to the wrong EM clerkships, considering it was near impossible to honor mine and everyone here has 'all H EM rotations lolllll'.

Step 1 250+, Step mid 260s, honors in home and one away rotation, HP/H throughout third year, top third of class, no publications but one poster presentation.

Applied to 34 programs, have 12 invites so far from programs ranging from bigger academic programs to rural community programs.

Seems like maybe Step 2 scores were more important this year?

@Goose Egg I'm sure you'll hear back about stuff by the end of the week - it seems like a lot of programs are waiting until this Friday. And if you applied to 60 programs I'm sure you've got a good diversity of programs. I'm not sure if anyone can really add anything at this point to your list (or that it would necessarily matter), but for whatever it's worth I can look at it if you PM me. Either way, I'm sure you'll start hearing things soon. You've got a solid Step 1 and good away grades. Hang in there (and yes, I know that's maybe easy for me to say... but we're all gonna make it).

@Goose Egg, what does your EM advisor say? Not to discount the collective wisdom of SDN, but they are probably the best resource for assessing your application.

FWIW, I have a couple of friends matching in EM who have similar stats to mine (above) and we have anywhere from 0-5 invites. I think you'll be ok, even though (as I know from my own application) it is psychologically traumatic.

yeah this sucks. my advisor doublechecked my app for red flags, said there are some good comments but overall its just average and doesn't stand out which means i may have a harder time getting interviews.

Are they looking at your SLOEs or just at the MSPE / other parts?

My school only does pass/fail and one of my aways didn't make any further distinction on the feedback for my school so I'm dying to know what my SLOE looks like aside from the (good) verbal and written feedback on my school's eval form.
 
I am a below average applicant, but I have great SLOES (HP at a respected institution where it is difficult to get honors and H on home rotation). I applied to 50 programs and have 8 interviews at a couple of top tier, mostly middle tier, and lower tier programs. If you don't have great board scores, you can compensate by doing great on your EM rotations and getting strong letters.

I was always wondering how people "know" they have great SLOEs? I mean, I know what my comments on my grade sheet were, but I don't actually know what my SLOE says. Are you just inferring that your SLOEs are strong based on your comments?
 
it's based on comments from attendings that are shared with me during check-in meetings with the clerkship director.
