Hey guys,

So I just took my first full length, the AAMC full length 1, and scored a 498. I missed 24 total questions on the C/P section and 19 of them were content that I have yet to study. I also missed 17 total questions on the B/B section and about 10 of those were content based. Not even going to mention CARS lol. Should I be worried about my exam score or would the further preparation of content improve my score significantly? My test date is in 4-5 weeks. I was a psychology major in undergrad so I'm hoping that section would come around. Thanks for the help!

Additional prep will always help. I would suggest more content review and more practice exams. I would save AAMC FL 2 for closer to your exam. Do you have a target score in mind?

Yeah, I just finished reviewing the first practice exam and am going to brush up on the content I was weak in for the next 2-3 days. After that, I am looking to take 3 practice tests every 10 days. My target score is 80-85% but I would be satisfied with around 504-506 bc I plan on applying to DO schools as well.

Since it's your first full length exam, I wouldn't fret too much as it will distract future preparation. Continue studying and applying material with practice problems and passages. If you've completed content review, don't spend an excessive amount of time re-reviewing.

Thanks for the response! I think that's what my main problem is, revisiting every little detail to master it. At this point, I am just brushing up on subtopics before I start applying to exams and problems.
