So as we approach May 3rd, my parents (who have been very supportive) have been on me about having all of my stuff ready to submit for verification on May 3rd. I think I'm about 75% done with my experiences and PS and my advisor has said that a good date to aim for submission would be middle of May. What's the consensus on here for submitting early?

Go for it. But don't break your back. ACOMAS doesn't transmit applications until June 15th.
