2018 PD Survey...discuss

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
One thing I just noticed was that the response rate across the board was surprisingly low (~30%????).

Is that a normal value? Now I'm wondering if utilizing the director survey as a reference is worth it?

But its not like there is another reference for inside the mind of a program director.

The literature tells us any survey with a response rate below 60% cannot be claimed to reliable. Take it for it what that is. I don't have time now but I'd check to see if this year's response rate differs much from rates of previous years.

Unfortunately, it's the only data we have on the subject.

Also keep in mind that the program director survey is not a manuscript to be published in Lancet on the efficacy of a tyrosine kinase inhibitor on leukemia.
