2019 ABFM Board Exam Results

Did anyone receive their preliminary results today? Took my exam on 4/16/19. Apparently you would get it in 3-5 days

Had a horrible day...then check email yesterday..received a pending review status...

Anyone know the chance of pass with this status...All my plans are riding on this...Have several job offers pending...Lord God Please Let me PASS...
 
Took exam on Friday, nervous about results. I didn’t have any trouble with my computer with the actual questions, but at the end of the test when I was filling in questions about the test center, the module was weird and it’s making me nervous that something messed up.

Basically I finished all the commentary about the test and then went to hit “next” but it wouldn’t let me (button was there but gray and unclickable). So I clicked the button of the top to submit the exam and everything submitted and then it confirmed and went to the prometrix screen. It’s probably ok, but it seems weird that they would have a “next” button but not be able to use it. Anyone else have something similar?

Wow I guess I wasnt the only one. Same thing happened to me. After completing the last question of the survey, the next button was completely greyed out. I just waited until time expired and exam closed. If it makes you feel better I took my exam on wednsday and I passed. Good luck

Hi congratulations for passing the exam. But did you say you took the exam tuesday or wednesday?

Had this happen as well and passed the exam.

Same thing happened to me too on friday.

There was no printed sheet or anything at the end of the exam right? I asked at the prometric centre and they said there's no sheet but that I'd get an email to confirm I completed the exam. I didn't get any email either.

there was no sheet or email as far as I know, I'm assuming we'll get one in a few days with the pass, fail or pending.

Well I don’t know specifically, but the overall pass rate for the exam is something like 98%. I suck at taking tests so was getting nervous a couple of weeks ago and then looked up my stats and that made me feel better.

I honestly expect to get the pending results email as I assume I didn’t blow the test out of the water but stats are on our side that we passed.

Ok glad a lot of people seem to feel that way 🙂 There were definitely a few repeat questions from the ABFM app, but definitely not as many parallels as I was expecting.
 
Did anyone receive a confirmation email after completing the ABFM this year? Took it on 4/29 and did not receive any sort of confirmation.
 
I took the exam on 4/29. Any one get their results yet (prelim)? Thanks
 
Took mine on 4/26, still waiting for the results.
 
also took it 4/26 - expecting results today - looks like 3 business day
other posters are saying results come out around 4 PM!

SCORES ARE OUT ON ABFM WEBSITE - PASSED - took 3 business days for results to come out

i didn't get an email just checked myself in abfm portfolio

just got the email but the result was already on abfm
 
Took the exam 4/26/2019
got the email around 1:09pm
" Pending Review"
i thought i did well after coming out of the test center
i actually have 1 hour 20 minutes of break after the 4 modules
Now im second guessing myself.. oh well.. the anxiety builds up

we'll find out by June i guess
 
yes. I think the system is updating. I didn't get an email yet.
 
I made an account just so I could post what I found out.
I called the ABFM and spoke with Dr. Thomas O’Neal who is one of the psychometric guys over there.
Per Dr. O’Neal, last year 14% of people taking the exam got a Pending Review result. Of those 14%, 10% ended up passing, 4% ended up failing.
So, of those with a Pending Review, approximately 70% ended up passing.
