2025-2026 Application Cycle Timeline

Hi, I’m very new to this forum so please forgive my ignorance. I graduate my undergrad in Spring 2025 and was wondering what the timeline of med school apps would look like for that. I went on a deep dive earlier and very greatly confused myself.

For background, I’m planning on taking my MCAT sometime late January or early May. I’m also planning on applying to both Masters and Medical Schools, which, i know I’m delusional, if I get accepted to both a 9 month masters and med school, would it be possible to do a masters fall 2025, finish it by May 2026, and then go to med school starting the 2026 cycle? It’s a long shot but still a possibility that I want to try to go for.

Anyways, TLDR, I need help visualizing what the med school app timeline is for a gal that graduates in spring 2025. Any advice or criticism welcome but please be nice because r/premed killed me

I'm not sure why you are applying to both Special Masters Programs(?) and Medical Schools. You should focus on one versus the other since you know your profile better than we do. If you want to start a SMP by August 2025, you should plan an application (PostBacCAS or schools directly as appropriate) beginning the spring of 2025 (after you get your fall/winter grades).
