Hi everyone! 🙂

I’ve created a new thread for the 2025-2026 application cycle for the NSU Masters of Biomedical Sciences program. I’m currently applying to Nova’s MBS program to strengthen my application for dental school. Does anyone have any insight about this program? I’d love to hear from any current or past students who can share their experiences.

Thank you!

Hi! I applied on February 21st and haven’t heard back yet. Any updates for you?

I applied March 7th, but I was wondering does anyone know about the conditional acceptance requirements. I think I read on another post that your undergraduate gpa is taken into consideration, is that right?

Not yet. I got an email on the 12th that my application was under review but I haven’t heard back

Update: got accepted 3/27

so the MBS program has 2 pathways for this Fall do you have to indicate which one (Intensive ... with NSU MD linkage in our case) you're applying to in the initial app? I have not yet started hence the question 🙂

Congrats @julesk4 🙂

Did you apply to the pathway with MD linkage? If yes, will you apply in the 2026 AMCAS cycle so that you matriculate after the MBS without a gap/glide year?

Anyone know the components of the conditional acceptances? I heard there may be specifics like MCAT and undergrad GPA, but not sure.

510 MCAT and 3.7 GPA from the program. There might be an undergraduate GPA component but I haven’t gotten a specific answer from them yet about that one.

I got accepted to this program. But when I made a post about this school on Reddit, people messaged me and told me to avoid the program. The MD class is very small, about 50 students, and they only accept around 5 students from the MBS program. Does anyone have insight into this?

Congrats on the A! I’m sorry I don’t have more information but I was wondering if when you got the A you had to sign a contract or a terms & conditions? I’m trying to figure out what are the exact criteria to make the conditional acceptance and if, as long as you meet those requirements, they have to accept you into the MD program.

Are there any MCAT screenings/minimums to get accepted into MD/DO program that I can't see? Seems everywhere says that there is no minimums and shows averages. Would hate to grind this program and not get seen during apps because of low mcat.

I deleted the email but a guy messages you once you are accepted regarding the MCAT requirements. Its very high. I believe they require a 510 MCAT
