I notice housing isn’t very readily available. Maybe it’s just because I’m looking now, but where do most students live?
You should look in the beach areas south of Portland for Sept to May rentals. These properties get rented out in the summer on a weekly basis so there are lots of options in Old Orchard and surrounding areas for students at reasonable prices.

I'm really not sure now since our move to Portland, I would look in Portland, South Portland, Westbrook, etc. Technically, you could commute from Biddeford/Saco but that would be a lot.

There's some new apartment complex next to campus that the grad campus was working with. I'm sorry I can't remember the name, but if you send Admissions an email I'm sure they'd let you know.

Yup. Seems like a mistake on their part, and when I emailed them about it and brought up how some received it and not others, they felt that I was being annoying.
Yup me too they brushed it off

I finally figured this out. It’s not a mistake.

They screen all primary applications and then send a portal link/secondary to those they believe have a good chance of getting an interview.

Aka, a lot of people never end up getting a secondary.

Interesting, makes sense why they keep getting annoyed with people asking them, but not sure why they wouldn’t be open about it? How did you find this out?

How did you come to this conclusion?

I see. Oh well, I'm fortunate enough to have gotten two acceptances already. Can't get 'em all. Good luck to everyone
