Yes, it is true that we have 10 repeating second years in my class (OMS1) this year. However, many of them had to take LOAs which is why they are repeating. The majority is not due to failure. This school’s curriculum is hard as it is at any medical school, but they revamped it this year so that we have MODS. I am in Mod 3 right now, and I have to work really hard but I love the curriculum and the staff here. Passing an exam requires a 70% or above. The mod exams are usually 80 questions and many times there are 3 or 4 subjects on that 1 exam so they’re waited pretty high. Personally I more than passed the first two exams. It’s 100% possible to succeed here!
