what are they screening for? I received the application confirmation email on 6/29, but haven't gotten a secondary yet. I have a 3.0+ BCPM GPA and a 510+ MCAT so I meet the minimum academic requirement.

+1 OOS application update that app is “still under review”, unsure of if they started sending out IIs?

Is it a good idea to use this as a "Why Us?" essay? I also took a gap year and it's the same activities that are already in my app so idk how to approach that.

The question is- tell us more about your qualifications.
You don’t have to use their example of talking about your gap year, what else can you think of?
None of the other prompts is really a “why us” essay either, so you might be able to think of a way to fit this in by matching something about the culture at OUWB to what you are looking for

still waiting on a secondary... got application submission confirmation on 6/29. at what point do i send an email, if at all?

is anyone else still waiting on a secondary? not sure if I should email them since I was verified early July

Can anyone else confirm a 2-week turnaround deadline for this secondary? If so , I will add that information to the first post in this thread.
@d4560 when I check the OUWB admission page it lists a deadline for supplemental materials late in the year, but a 2 week deadline to respond to an admissions offer.

From the email: “The final deadline for submitting your supplemental application is December 15 at 11:59 PM EST.”

The 2-week turnaround request is in their email invitation to complete the supplemental app. Screenshot below.

Do you think this is a hard deadline?
No, the language in the email says the following:

"We ask that you complete your supplemental application within two weeks of this invitation. The final deadline for submitting your supplemental application is December 15 at 11:59 PM EST."

The two-week request seems to be a recommendation for maximum competitiveness/expressing interest, but the only hard deadline mentioned is Dec 15.

You can optimize your chances by turning it in promptly, look at it that way
