Due to some residency verification problems, I was only able to apply near the end of September. I only applied to my 4 in-state schools in Texas. My application arrived at the schools on 10/3. I believe my academic is strong and my shadowing (100+ hours in multiple offices) and volunteering was not bad. I would be relatively confident if I applied early in the cycle. But since I applied this late, and I haven't gotten any interview invitations yet, I feel very worried.
I don't fully understand the rolling admission process. Do schools fill the spots first from the early applicants, and only look at the late applicants if the former declined the interview or the admission? Are the Texas schools still sending out more interview invitations? Do they send out invitations at a regular interval (say, once every month)? When will their last batch of interview invitations be sent out usually?
Thank you all so much for your help.
