Hi,
I took the comlex yesterday and thought it was really random and kind of confusing at times what they wanted as the answer/ multiple correct answers...did any one else take it yesterday... what were your thoughts?
I took a comsae and did well on it about 1.5 months ago, but man this test was much more difficult. I stopped marking after a while... bc it made me nervous thinking about it.
im kinda worried about it....

I hear you! I took it yesterday and thought last 2 sections were just annoying.....maybe it was fatigue factor or just randomness but I didnt feel good about those 2 questions either....did pretty well in Comsae but this test seemed difficult than than form A.....not a lot of bugs and drugs which I was hoping for and omm was random too.....I only studied from combank and I dont think it helped a ton in preparation......I knew FA from front to back but there werent a lot of staright forward facts like questions (which in my opinion are easy points if you know them for example a kid having an attack where he stares at the wall; what treatment? Ethosuximide)....all we can do is pray and wait....hopefully something positive will happen 🙂

i agree....the omm was very focused on how you set up stuff... which takes time to think about... and you dont really ever know you are right... another frustrating part... the worst part was when they asked about stuff that you think should be on level 2 or 3 not part 1 which is supposed to be based on basic science years.

One more thing that I thought was big my exam was pathology pics!!! there werent enough history given and you had to diagnose according to the slide given which was tough for me (eventhough I did pathoma and some goljen)...did u had lots of it too?

yeah i definately had a lot of those... and honestly i was like i have no idea.. bc you didnt tell me anything in the vignette other than person comes in for test heres the image. and tell me what he has.. i was like great... could be nothing or malignant but cant tell bc your images are sooo blurry and you didnt tell me anything about him/her. and honestly gonig through the exam i was like i have no idea whether these are right or wrong but dont have time to even think about it... bc the passages were longer than i expected.
