I already have 20+ score, but I am not admitted this year.
I try to take a test again.
Here were my studying materials; Kaplan, DAT Achiever, Topscore

I add destroyer and AP biology this time.
Does anybody recommend other than those things???
Is it really worth to read thick textbooks such as Campbell bio, Solomon orgo, Oxtoby chem? Isn't it time consuming? I don't think I can remember the contents even if I read the textbook.
25+ers!!! Please, answer me. What was your studying material to get 25+ score?

If you already have a 20+ it might be other area's of your application holding you back. If you gave us a more detailed breakdown of your application perhaps we could advise you better.

I am an international student.
The quota for international students is very limited.
20+ is not that competitive score for international students.
My friends get 22-23 but nobody is admitted. One friend with 25 got an admission.

For me...
bio 23
chem 22
orgo 21
pat 20 (the percentage is 97%, but I don't know why the score is only 20)
reading 14 (so bad... English is my first language...--)
math 20

overall gap : 3.6
sci gpa : 3.8

please, help!!!
The only thing I can do now is... to get 25++++++!!!
Do I have to spend tons of hours on thick, boring textbook???
other best way???

Your pat was 20 because you got 70-73 correct out of 90. Within your particular group (for that particular time), you were at 97% because only 3% had a higher score than you did.

Your desire for a 25 may be doable but you would have to be in the top 99.9% and avoiding those boring textbooks may not be an option.

If I were you, I'd just call the universities and talk to the advisor - they normally dont mind pulling up your profile and pointing out your weak areas. So, maybe all you need is a high VR score or as mentioned earlier in this thread, maybe u just need to work on something else, like shadowing or volunteer work or so.

Your RC score is too low. You need to practice it more and retake unless you end up getting in this cycle. You may also need to apply earlier if you applied too late (too late = after mid August nowadays).

If you applied early then maybe there's something else in your app that we don't know about.

Exatly. You should also apply to more private schools that are more international student friendly also. PM me if you have anymore questions. I am an international student myself.

anothing thing is: DO YOU HAVE SSN? It matters a lot at some schools, trust me.

I believe there was 12,000 applicants last year. If the same trend goes on, it means you can only lose to 12 out of 12,000. Just wow.

From 7-06 to 6-07 out of 9261 who took the DAT, the actual numbers were as follows:

AA.....frequency....%

25......44.........0.5
26.......5..........0.1
27.......6..........0.1
28.......1..........0
No scores of 29 or 30.
