I'm not sure if there's already a thread like this but this is for all the July 5th mail out applicants to post about stats, receiving confirmation emails, supplemental applications, interviews, acceptances, and whatever else might be helpful to the sdn community and those in the same batch as you. Ill start it off.

Does AADSAS notify you in advance of when your app will be mailed? My GPA was verified on Monday the 1st, but so far it says "pending" next to all my schools.
EDIT: nevermind. I was only checking AADSAS mobile. On the actual website, it says mailing date scheduled for 7/5/13.

So far I have heard back from UNLV stating they received my application from AADSAS (I'm assuming the electronic version since they aren't mailing mine out until tomorrow).

I think AADSAS has problems with coordinating between the normal portal and the mobile portal. Last cycle December 1st was on a Saturday so it was announced that acceptances wouldn't go out until Monday morning on the 3rd. But then it turned out that the mobile portal was self-updating and showing everyone their acceptances on the 1st and it took AADSAS a few hours to realize and hide the decisions until the 3rd.

Lol I get that a lot. I wish I knew. I applied broadly last cycle too but I was invited for only 3 interviews. Hopefully this cycle is lucky for both of us!

Your app was sent out TODAY. Today is Friday. Day before the weekend. The admissions committee are humans too you know. They didn't get to all the apps that were sent to them. Relax and go to that sacred place called "outside".

Haha yes. Thanks, ill give "outside" a go😉. Im only concerned because i see that some people on here, whose apps were also sent today, already received secondaries/verifications from schools i also applied to.

My portal says my letters were mailed out 7/5/2013

just out of curiosity, when did you apply last cycle?

I don't remember the exact date but my app was sent to the schools in mid July sometime.

shiftparadigm, as a CA resident (me too), congrats on getting San Antonio invite, im guessing your DAT score stood out, its super difficult to get an interview as OOS student.

I never had to fill out a supplement at all for San Antonio. I don't think there is one, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. As a side note, I applied to the Texas schools through TMDSAS, although I don't think it really makes a huge difference.

Haha thank you. I was a little hesitant to even spend the money applying to the Texas schools, knowing that they don't take a lot of OOS people, but I guess it paid off 🙂

I believe all "mailings" are electronic.

Thanks guys! I scheduled mine for September 18th. I think there was some confusion regarding their supplemental app. I submitted mine right after submitting my AADSAS app. I think that's what got me reviewed earlier.

The only schools I have not heard ANYTHING from are MOSDOH, USC, and UNC. However, from past cycles, USC starts reviewing late and UNC doesn't send a confirmation email before inviting for an interview (usually 3 weeks before interview). And I assume MOSDOH is still waiting on initial accreditation. So it seems like all of the schools are doing good about keeping applicants informed. Good luck second batchers!

Cool. I actually haven't had the "under review" email from ECU, but I did get the generic aadsas received/supplemental email. I submitted the supplemental on July 5th and got a "thank you for your payment" email. That is the last I have heard from ECU. From last year though, they should send another email that says "requirements met" and that the app is being reviewed.

No love here either. Got Nova and LECOM a while back and nothing besides a few "app complete" emails since then.

same. invite to nova. LECOM seems to be behind in app processing which is weird because some 4th batchers have had invites, yet some 2nd/1st batchers still have their portals empty. But nothing else as yet besides app complete form others.

I have Nova on September 18th. My LECOM portal is still telling me to do the supplemental even though I've already submitted it and paid. I somehow received an interview invite and still don't have access to anything in the portal. It's a new school so the glitches are expected.

I am confused... I am a second batcher too... What portals are you guys talking about? I had a supplement to Lecom too amongst others... Where do I check?
