Heyy guys-

So I've searched for this but cannot figure it out. If I submitted my application august 1st, my DAT scores were submitted august 7th, but bc my school is incredibly inefficient my LOR aren't being submitted to schools until this upcoming Friday by AADSAS, what round am I considered? And when should I expect to hear from schools?? Thanks for your help!!!

some schools wait for LORS, some do not. if they are the former, it beconmes a function of the date they receive your dat vs when their committee meets to go over apps. every schools process is different. if its the latter, it sthe same except its from when they receive your LOR. unfortunately, if theyre holding for your LORs you are late at alot of schools. Some though dont even look at apps till september, so at those you arent so late. i know about this because im in the same situation. sorry the advice couldnt be more specific, but it really does depend on the school.

Many schools go by a first come, first serve basis. As it gets later in the season, the interview spots lessen, and it gets a lot tougher to get the remaining slots. There have been mailing dates since the beginning of JULY 2? I can't remember. If you have superb stats, I'm sure everything will works itself out; however, it gets exponentially tougher if you have just average, below average, or above average stats at this stage of the game. I guess to summarize the above lines: it will take a while for schools to get back.

Anyways to answer the round question. AADSAS sends out materials every Friday. Counting from July 2cd, you would be around 12-14th round?

Wait 12-14th?? I didn't know there was such thing! Can someone please explain how rounds work?? And if I'm 12-14 does that mean i won't get asked for interviews until the middle of next semester? So I have to sit patiently for the next 5 months without hearing fro schools? Please tell me im wrong...
